John, I'm really excited about our next Vice President.
She just made history as the first Black woman on a major party presidential ticket. This is both a moment to celebrate and to acknowledge trailblazers like Shirley Chisolm, who helped pave the way. With a little luck—and hard work from all of us—Senator Harris will make even more history on November 3.
I want to show just how fired up we are about our next Vice President. Will you join me and add your name to congratulate Senator Harris?
I often say that true leadership is doing things before they become popular—before people see them as likely or even inevitable. Well, back when we were locked in a competitive four-way primary and many chose to wait, Senator Harris was our first major endorsement. She told me then that she saw me as the kind of leader who is for the people. Her strong support helped us raise critical funds ahead of the Democratic primary, and helped move us one step closer to flipping the fifth!
I’m so excited to have her voice on the Democratic ticket. In debate, she brings a critical focus on facts, and she has the tenacity to prosecute the failures of the Trump administration. I know that she and Vice President Biden will bring much-needed change to our country.
I’m proud to stand with Senator Harris in the fight to bring the voice of the people back to Washington. I hope you’re excited, too!
Let’s go get it!
