Hello friend,
It’s not often that we get to hear directly from people at the forefront of the debt and climate crisis.
Next week, Zambian campaigner Precious Kalombwana will be in the UK to share how these twin crises have shaped the lives of millions of people – and what we can do to support people like her all around the world in demanding change.
There’s still time to get your ticket to join us in London or Manchester to hear Precious speak first-hand about what is happening in her country.
RSVP for Manchester in person: Tues 21 April ([link removed])
RSVP for London in person or online: Thurs 23 April ([link removed])
As Precious explains:
“In my own family, we have felt the strain of the country’s debt crisis. The reality for us is that we don’t have access to healthcare or medicine in hospitals. Classrooms are overcrowded and economic opportunities are severely limited.”
By standing with people like Precious who are leading the call for action, I believe we can win justice for millions of people in countries trapped in debt crisis around the world.
In solidarity,
Wiz, Eva, Zak and everyone at Debt Justice
PS can’t be there in person? The London event will also be livestreamed, just register here. ([link removed])
