Beto is heading back out on the road again this week, to talk to Texans at
college campuses and register them to vote in Harris County and College
Station.

But what’s special about our work at Powered by People is that we don’t
just leave a newly registered voter to fend for themselves in the most
voter-suppressed state in America.

A member of our organizing team personally sticks with them through
Election Day and beyond — making sure they have the information they need,
helping them make a plan to vote, and following up so that registration
turns into a vote.

That personal relationship building is what sets Powered by People apart
from others in your inbox,

In 2024, we took a voter turnout rate for 18-29 year olds in our program
from 37% to 79%. Now, we want to grow this program to reach even more
voters. But staying on the road in a state as big as Texas — and holding
these organizing events on the ground — takes real resources.
