John,

News just broke that former McDonald's CEO Steve Easterbrook had not one, not two, but three inappropriate sexual relationships with staff, and then destroyed the evidence.

McDonald's new CEO says that "McDonald's does not tolerate" this kind of behavior. That's news to me. After my manager told me how good my uniform looked "in all the right places" and grabbed my breasts, McDonald's leadership ignored me.

McDonald's culture is rotten to the core -- and it must change. Sign the petition: Demand McDonald's use Steve Easterbrook's $40 million severance package to establish a worker-led program to address sexual harassment at McDonald's once and for all.

I was 17 when the sexual harassment started. A coworker said something to me that I'd rather not repeat. My manager laughed. The harassment continued, day after day.

So I can't say I was surprised when I woke up to the news that the man in charge of McDonald's at the time was accused of lying and concealing evidence about inappropriate relationships at work.

Now, McDonald's is suing Easterbrook to claw back the $40 million severance package they gave him when he stepped down. They have the resources and concern to deal with sexual harassment in the boardroom, but where were they when myself and other women I've met were getting harassed? And I think I know why: there wasn't $40 million in it for them to help me like there is by suing Easterbrook.

Add your name to demand that McDonald's invest that $40 million -- as a start -- to making their stores free of the ongoing and rampant sexual harassment.
