This course will support practitioners to develop efficient and accurate assessment processes; thus enabling settings to make subtle changes in provision using evidence from both child initiated and adult led sessions to support development and attainment.

*Phase One Phonics 3-5's Based on Letters and Sounds *

This session will develop practitioners understanding of Phase One Phonics by developing their understanding of the seven aspects within phase one.

*Unconscious Bias Awareness Workshop (all practitioners not in senior role)*

As Early Years practitioners our Unconscious Bias can impact on our peers and the focused work we do with children.

This course is designed to support managers to enable their teams to have the confidence and positive energy that can help promote a positive outcome.

This course will provide practitioners with a variety of techniques enabling them to plan stimulating and engaging sessions with a focus on developing early language and communication skills throughout their environment

Date: Wednesday 6th November 2019

Time: 9.00am - 3.30pm

*F2 Phonics *

From this session practitioners will be introduced on to teaching discrete phonic sessions in a stimulating way to engage children and help them to read and write confidently in a range of ways

Date: Tuesday 12th November 2019

Time: 9.00am - 3.30pm

*Year 1 Phonics*

This course aims to develop your subject knowledge of alternative graphemes and give inspiring practical ideas for how to teach phonics in a vibrant and exciting way
