We're up against one of the most extreme anti‑choice and hate‑filled tickets the country has ever seen — and the contrast between the Biden‑Harris and Trump‑Pence tickets couldn't be starker.
On the campaign trail in 2016, Trump openly suggested that women deserve “some form of punishment” for seeking abortion care. He’s taken every chance he’s had to stack the courts with hundreds of extreme ideological judges who will have an impact on reproductive freedom for decades to come, including two nominees confirmed to the Supreme Court: Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.
And we can’t forget anti‑choice crusader Mike Pence, who has worked fanatically to roll back our rights and freedoms. Now, we have a chance to replace him with a proven leader who will fight for reproductive freedom and work to undo the damage waged by Pence and Trump.
Meanwhile, Kamala Harris has worked tirelessly to fight for reproductive freedom for every body:
- Senator Harris has earned a 100% voting record in NARAL Pro-Choice America’s 2019 Congressional Record on Choice every year she has served in the Senate.1
- She’s been a fierce advocate for pro-choice policies, cosponsoring the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA) to protect our right to access abortion care free from medically unnecessary restrictions and bans, the Global HER Act to expand access to reproductive healthcare internationally by permanently ending the global gag rule, and the EACH Woman Act to block racist bans on abortion coverage like the Hyde Amendment once and for all.
- And she’s been unequivocal in her commitment to women and families both in the Senate and on the campaign trail in 2020, voicing her support for reproductive freedom and her opposition to the Trump administration’s dangerous attacks on our fundamental rights.

Over the coming months, the Radical Right will be up to their old tricks, leaning into their rampant misogyny to attack Kamala Harris. We saw it in 2016 — and unfortunately, we’ll see it again in 2020 as they desperately attempt to maintain power and control.
