Like Kamala, some have called me a trailblazer. If elected, I would be the first woman to hold this seat and first Native American (Ho-Chunk) to represent Wisconsin in Congress, much like Kamala would be our first woman Vice President.
It is high time that our women and our young girls see themselves reflected in our government, but people shouldn't vote for me, or Kamala, just because we’re women. They should vote for us because we’re qualified, experienced women who will work hard to get the job done.
I am running for Congress because we need someone who will work hard for Wisconsin families, farmers, small businesses, and more. And Kamala Harris endorsed my campaign because she knows that WI-07 needs new representation and that Wisconsin is key to winning the White House.
And I am the strongest candidate to help lift up our communities in WI-07 and make progress on the issues that matter. I need you on our team now more than ever.
