I've never been afraid of a fight, John.

I've been arrested on the steps of the Capitol. I've been called a traitor. I've been written off, dismissed, and underestimated more times than I can count. And every single time, I got back up because I knew that what we were fighting for was bigger than any one of us.

Every movement that has ever changed the world — from civil rights to women’s liberation to climate justice — started because people refused to stay quiet.

That rebellious spirit is what’s needed right now.

Because let’s be real: The news under the Trump administration is a never-ending barrage of chaos. Attack after attack on our core democratic institutions. Climate protections ripped away. Fundamental freedoms undermined.

But after decades of fighting, I’ve learned that the feeling of being small is exactly what they want.

They want us to believe we’re powerless and hopeless. Joke’s on them because we refuse to give them that satisfaction.

We don’t need to be the biggest, the loudest, or the wealthiest. We just need to keep showing up. That’s why I started the Jane Fonda Climate PAC. To take the spirit of rebellion into the halls of power — by resisting the fossil fuel industry’s influence and electing climate champions who will fight for people, not corporate profits.
