Hi John,
Run for Something endorsed candidates are winning -- and it's pretty damn exciting.
Some highlights from last week's elections:
-
Eli Savitt, an unapologetic progressive with a vision for reform, won his race for DA in Ann Arbor, MI.
-
Gabby Salinas, a scientist and breast cancer survivor, blew her primary opponents for the TN state house out of the water by a 50-point margin.
-
Gabriella Cázares-Kelly will be the first Native person ever elected in Pima County, AZ.
And that's not all. In the past week, 22 of our candidates came out on top of their contested elections and made all of us here at Run for Something very proud. Their hard work is proof of what we can build together: Lasting power for the people, by the people.
This is just the start. We've got elections happening now, into September, and then early voting and vote by mail ahead of November 3rd, not to mention GOTV for all our candidates -- and recruitment's already underway for candidates to run in 2021 and 2022.
All this is possible only with your support.

I really believe that today's state and local leaders will be tomorrow's congresspeople, governors, and even presidents.
In baseball, they call this idea a farm system. You find some of the best and brightest players around the world, give them their start in the minor leagues, and before you know it, they're pitching in the World Series.
This past week, we added 22 young, diverse candidates to the "league" and whether they choose to seek higher office one day or not, these candidates are doing their part to change the world for the better.
We're doing what we can to recruit and support as many candidates as we can but none of it would be possible without grassroots donors chipping in a little to create a lot. Can we keep counting on you?
Thank you,
Amanda Litman
