Friend,

I’m Makenze Cameron, Daniel’s wife, mom to our three boys and a
former Kentucky schoolteacher. 

I don’t reach out like this often, but we are less than six weeks
from the May 19 primary, and I have to be honest with you: THIS MOMENT
IS TOO IMPORTANT FOR ME TO STAY QUIET. So I want to tell you about the
man I know, and why he’s the right choice for Kentucky. 

When I first met Daniel, I SAW A MAN WHOSE FAITH IS NOT A CAMPAIGN
TALKING POINT, IT’S THE FOUNDATION OF EVERY SINGLE DECISION HE
MAKES. He leads our family the same way he has led in public service:
with humility, with conviction, and with his eyes fixed on something
bigger than himself. Daniel has been my rock through some of the
hardest moments, and always manages to be present and loving to the
boys and me amidst the busyness of politics. 

KENTUCKY’S FAMILIES NEED SOMEONE IN WASHINGTON WHO UNDERSTANDS THAT
THOSE THREE THINGS ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE. FAITH. FAMILY. COMMUNITY.

Now let me be honest about something: our opponents have been spending
millions of dollars and in the last week, some very well-funded
attacks have been aimed squarely on Daniel.

Our ability to push back and get Daniel’s positive message out all
across the commonwealth over the next few weeks may well be the
deciding factor in what happens on May 19th.
