This is a dangerous moment in America for Jewish, Black, Brown,
LGBTQ, immigrant, and so many other communities. White supremacists
like Donald Trump and his Executive Branch enablers have emboldened
the white nationalist movement to organize, propagandize, and
violently endanger people across the country.
That’s
why Bend the Arc Jewish Action PAC is endorsing Joe Biden for
President today, as we remember Heather Heyer, who was murdered by
white nationalists in Charlottesville three years ago. You can learn

In addition to Biden, our
PAC has endorsed five Senate candidates and 46 House candidates in
strategically important races for the 2020 election cycle. Each
one is committed to fighting white supremacy and building a
multiracial democracy that’s for everyone. We’re committed to sending
white supremacists back where they belong: to the margins of
society.
But
we can’t achieve what America needs unless we join together, and
show our elected officials that a solid majority of Americans―and an
even larger majority of American Jews―demand action right now in
support of our vision of an America where all are equal and free.
White nationalists have mounted armed militia demonstrations (they
occupied a State House!), committed far too many acts of violence,
and murdered Americans in cold blood. We know that white nationalism
is the real national emergency.
We,
as a community, must act now. And we don’t have the luxury of
time.
Just last week, Donald Trump’s enablers moved to end the 2020
Census count early, eroding every American’s constitutional guarantee
of representation. Even worse, they took concrete steps last week to
interfere with voting by mail by repeating dangerous lies about voter
fraud, installing unqualified political appointees in U.S. Postal
Service leadership, raising the postage for mail ballots, and (most
alarming of all) interfering with the prompt delivery of mail by mail
carriers.
Our
work is more important than ever. Be part of our coalition at this
dangerous moment.
Let’s work together, and set America on a course toward untangling
the dangerous knot of white nationalism, disinformation, demonization,
and plain old racism that prevents our nation from being the just and
equitable society so many of us aspire for it to be.
