From coast to coast, more people are awakening to the systemic racism that resulted in the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and so many others.
Many white people are asking themselves: what is my role in ending white supremacist systems? What would that mean? How can I be a part of building an anti-racist future? What are the concrete contributions needed from me in this moment and beyond?
For the third session of our Feminist Futures webinar series, we’re inviting you to be part of a crucial discussion this Thursday August 13th led by the team at Race & Resilience where we’ll provide actionable steps you can take to help dismantle racist systems.
This session will offer concrete tools for white women working across race and class in the pursuit of dismantling white supremacy. It will include humble reflections from panelists about their own learnings and unlearnings. We’re hosting this webinar in collaboration with Planned Parenthood, MomsRising, United State of Women, NARAL, Supermajority, Auburn Seminary and UltraViolet.
White women play a critical role in dismantling white supremacy to help create a world where Black lives truly matter. The window is open for change and now is the time to stand on the right side of history.
Each of us has an opportunity to be a force for radical change in our communities and when we join together, we can shift culture and policies towards justice. This webinar will share the actionable steps you can take to get started.
This work is a life-long commitment and one webinar is not enough, but whether you’re new to this work or been at it for a while – this discussion will grow your skills and knowledge on how to show up in the movement for Black lives.
