Dear John,

When I began serving the people of Georgia, I promised that protecting our rural communities and agricultural stakeholders would be a top priority.

After Hurricane Michael, I drafted the farm relief package that provided emergency assistance to our rural communities and hardest-hit farmers and ranchers. I have continued to work proactively to create agricultural safety nets before unexpected natural disasters occur.

Now, my work for farmers continues.

As Chairman of the U.S. House Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, I am working to help farmers and ranchers get their products in the hands of consumers, even while COVID-19 stretches the supply chain thin.

I am investing in rural broadband initiatives that will allow farmers to run competitive small businesses and farm communities to access distance learning.

I am creating long-term infrastructure plans that will help our agricultural communities adapt to changing weather patterns.

I am passionate about continuing this work in Congress to advocate for agriculture, the backbone of Georgia's economy. John, if you support me in this mission, will you make a contribution to my reelection campaign? Make a donation: [link removed]

Thank you so much for your continued support. I am working for you every day.

Sincerely,
Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr.
