John, I don’t like to ask for money just as much as you probably don’t like reading these emails. That’s why I work closely with my team to make sure that I’m only asking for what we need, when we need it. So here’s the deal:

Hitting this fundraising goal helps ensure our team has the resources to fight back against Donald Trump’s weak agenda and the corrupt corporate power that is strangling the American Dream. And if the last few months have taught us anything, it’s that fighting back is more important than ever.

Trump launched an unauthorized and reckless war with Iran, which has jacked up prices for folks here at home. Rather than focus on making life less of a rip-off for Americans, his administration is looking for another $200 billion to fund this unnecessary and deadly war.

And House Republicans have gone along with Trump’s incompetent leadership. They’ve refused to stand up to his unauthorized war in the Middle East. They’ve made massive cuts to healthcare and more to pay for huge tax giveaways to billionaires and large corporations.

John, folks in PA and across the country have earned a hell of a lot more than this.

I promise you that I’ll continue fighting to deliver for the good people of Pennsylvania. I’ll stand up to corrupt power, Donald Trump, and anyone else when they hurt the American people. But I need your help to continue this work.
