John,
Today, we're proud to finally share with you our organizing efforts around the U.S. Census — and how you can help. (Keep reading!)
Every ten years, the United States conducts a census of the people who live here. The results of that census determine how federal funding is allocated to communities — and how many representatives each state has in Congress — for the next decade.
Our campaign's momentum tripled turnout in this district, John. Let's keep it going to make sure that every single person in NY-16 is counted — including children, our undocumented neighbors, and others that are historically undercounted in the census.
Will you join us from home for a couple hours to help spread the word about the census? Your time will make sure that our district can receive adequate funding for our schools, housing programs, and social services for the next 10 years:

The results of this census will directly impact the resources our hospitals receive, funding for education, social services like SNAP benefits, housing, and so much more.
And due to the Trump administration's decision to end the count a month early, experts are expecting an undercount from Latino and Black communities in this year's census, which would leave these communities underrepresented and under-resourced.
That's where you come in, John. We're counting on you to join Team Bowman as we reach out to people in NY-16 to make sure they've taken the time to be counted in the census before it's too late.
I hope you'll consider joining us for one of the events listed above and to get the word out about this once-in-ten-years opportunity. It's critical work, and our success relies on how hard we can organize right now. Let's build on our primary win to organize NY-16 around the census!
Thank you,
Bianca Guerrero, Field Director
