Members of the Trump administration are patting themselves on the back after the passage of the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA). But while this bipartisan legislation is important for our parks’ future, untold damage is happening to our national parks right now -- all on their watch. The fact is: The Trump administration is FAILING our national parks right now.

Fully funding the Land and Water Conservation Fund, as the GAOA does, is essential. But it should've happened long before this. And William Perry Pendley, an anti-public lands extremist and Donald Trump's handpicked nominee to lead the Bureau of Land Management, could reverse any progress made under the GAOA.

Worse, we STILL do not have a Senate-confirmed National Park Service Director to swiftly address the arson, vandalism and littering that have swept through our national parks during the COVID-19 pandemic!
