Friend, I’ve been very transparent with you about the fact that I don’t like to send fundraising emails.

I would rather spend my time talking about our fight for healthcare for all, a Green New Deal, abolishing ICE, and opposing needless wars.

But let me break it down for you like this:

I’m in a close race for reelection at a time when all bets are off — Trump and MAGA are ruining our economy, hurting regular Americans, and tearing down American democracy and international law.

Despite all of this, my opponent was able to outraise us in 2025, and we are nervously awaiting the first FEC finance reports of 2026 to see if we've been able to keep up.

So far this year, almost two thirds of the money we've raised online came from grassroots donations from fundraising emails like these, proving how much of a crucial lifeline they are for our campaign. We don’t have billionaires or corporate CEOs waiting to swoop in with a bag of cash.

So, with some ambitious goals set for our April fundraising deadline, I’m checking in to see if you can make a donation to my campaign.
