Dear John,

Glyphosate -- a.k.a. Bayer-Monsanto’s Roundup® -- is the most widely used
pesticide in the history of the world. So it’s no surprise that our new study
found it in everyone we tested. What might be surprising is how quickly we got
this cancer-causing pesticide out of people’s bodies.

Friends of the Earth just released a groundbreaking peer-reviewed study showing
that levels of glyphosate dropped 70% after just six days on an organic diet!

None of us should ever have to eat food grown with toxic pesticides like
glyphosate. That’s why we need your help, John, to put
pressure on supermarket giant Kroger to get toxic pesticides out of its supply
chain.

Tell Kroger: Stop selling food grown with Bayer-Monsanto’s toxic pesticides!

Take Action

dinner, you may be exposed to multiple doses of glyphosate daily.

Along with cancer, research has linked this pesticide to kidney toxicity,
hormone disruption, reproductive problems, disruption of the gut microbiome, and
more.

What’s more, the dramatic increase in the use of Bayer-Monsanto’s Roundup® on
genetically engineered crops like corn and soy has contributed to the decline of
monarch butterflies. These iconic pollinators are now at risk of extinction.

Here is what we know: Organic food makes a difference! Our new study shows how
important it is to ensure all people have access to organic, healthy food.
Organic agriculture is also better for bees and butterflies, our environment,
farmworkers, and small farmers.

Kroger could be part of the solution by getting toxic pesticides out of its
supply chain. This would be a huge step toward a healthy and just food system.

Demand Kroger increase organic offerings and help make organic food accessible
to all!

shareholder meeting, activists like you made so many phone calls that we filled
up its voicemail -- and the company responded immediately!

Kroger acknowledged the importance of a healthy food system and vowed to
continue to lead conversations on the topic. But it’s not moving fast enough.

We have Kroger’s attention. Together we must ramp up the pressure to demand it
increase its organic product offerings and kick toxic pesticides out of its
supply chain!

Take Action Now: Tell Kroger to protect our people and planet from
Bayer-Monsanto’s Roundup® and other toxic pesticides!
