Many veteran analysts have speculated that changing demographics could cause the longtime Republican stronghold to one day swing left -- and it looks like, because of Trump's colossal failure of a presidency, that day will come sooner than expected.

Joe Biden has already deployed veteran campaign operatives to the Lone Star State to shore up his lead and lock down the state's whopping 38 electoral votes come November. But Trump, who won the state by a historically low margin in 2016, is insisting the GOP crown jewel is safe with him -- saying, "I don't think Biden's going to do too well in Texas."
