The Federal Point precincts in southern New Hanover County invite you to a candidate forum for voters in NC House 19 and NC Senate 9. The forum will feature the two Democratic candidates vying to earn or keep a seat in the NC General Assembly: NC House 19 candidate Marcia Morgan, and NC Senate 9 candidate Senator Harper Peterson. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from both Democratic candidates and discuss issues of importance in our County. The event is free and open to the public. Also, if you haven't already done so, apply now for an absentee by mail ballot. To request a ballot, fill out the request form here, then print it out and mail it to the Board of Elections, or call the Board of Elections at (910) 798-7330 and ask them to mail you one.
