I am heartbroken.
You’ve probably seen the videos of ICE’s violence and chaos coming from
every corner of this country. We’ve heard stories of newlyweds ripped
apart and families separated at at airports.
There’s one thing that’s crystal clear: We need Senators who will stand up
for what's right all the time, not just when it's convenient.
We need Senators who reject the status quo and who will fight for big,
bold change.
Minnesotans have a really clear choice in this race. My Democratic primary
opponent publicly praised Trump’s ICE and voted to strip immigrants of due
process last year.
I will make sure we treat every person in Minnesota with the dignity and
respect they deserve. That means we need to rip ICE apart and build an
immigration system based on compassion and safety for everyone.
I’m running for Senate to stand up to Trump, stop his dangerous agenda,
and stop ICE from terrorizing our communities. Minnesotans deserve safety,
compassion, and due process — not fear.
