“I’m a real Democrat, not a faggocrat like you.”

FIRST: A man just threatened me at a town hall. He even said he had guns in his car.

THEN: Our team did something that may surprise you – we de-escalated the situation, and we listened. We heard him out. About Social Security. About his family’s history with the KKK. He apologized, John. 

NOW: I’m not backing down. But I need your support more than ever before my End of Quarter Deadline. 

Let me tell you why: Extreme Republicans like Donald Trump and my opponent, Paul LePage, have spread conspiracies, hate, and lies to enrage and divide everyday Americans.

Because they will stop at nothing to hold on to power.

But I’m not in this race for power or to pad my pockets, I’m in this race to have the hard conversations with people who are disenfranchised and enraged by the state of our democracy. To work together to find real solutions. To move our country forward. 

No amount of hate could make me give up this campaign to take back the House for Democrats. I’m gearing up for more town halls to hear from Mainers in every corner of this district.
