The path to a Democratic majority runs through red to blue districts. We need to support candidates who can actually win in districts Donald Trump carried in 2024.

Today, we are highlighting three critical races where Blue Dog-endorsed candidates are facing extreme opponents who could put these seats at risk in November:

* CA-22: Dr. Jasmeet Bains is a family physician and California State Assemblymember who won re-election by 15 points ahead of the top of the ticket.

* CO-08: Shannon Bird has been ranked as Colorado’s most effective lawmaker because she is known for putting her district ahead of her party.

* TX-35: Johnny Garcia is a SWAT hostage negotiator and Bexar County Sheriff’s deputy who knows how to deliver for San Antonio.
