One thing we've tried to communicate to our supporters is the fact that we have a situation developing in North Carolina. There are two aspects of concern. First, the latest polling data shows that Democrat candidate Cal Cunningham has built a 5% lead over our Republican incumbent Senator, Thom Tillis.
Secondly, Democrat Cunningham has amased a signficant campaign war chest, and we must raise the funds to fight back. These two developments led the Cook Political Report to move the race from "Leans Republican" to "Toss Up." Fellow patriots, we *must* win this race and hold this Senate seat for the GOP.
Cal Cunningham won the Democrat nomination with the backing of the anti-gun, liberal Brady PAC. Democrats are making North Carolina one of their top priorities in both the presidential and U.S. Senate races. This is why Democrats have dumped so much money into this race - and we need the funds to fight back.
