John,
In February, the U.S. House passed a new version of the SAVE Act — a dangerous, anti-democratic bill that would require American citizens to show documents like a birth certificate or passport just to register to vote. Now, the bill is stalled in the U.S. Senate, where Democratic pro-choice women are fighting hard to squash it.
The stakes couldn't be higher. Will you chip in today to fuel our fight to elect more women who support free and fair elections, John?

Research shows that more than 21 million eligible U.S. citizens don't have easy access to their birth certificate or passport. That's 21 million Americans who could be locked out of the ballot box — not because they're ineligible, but because they don't have the paperwork on hand.
And it gets worse. Married women who took their spouse's name, trans people who have updated their legal name, and anyone whose documents don't perfectly match would be forced to jump through even more hoops just to exercise their fundamental right to vote.
This isn't voter protection. It's voter suppression. It's exactly what Donald Trump and the Republican Party want ahead of the 2026 midterms, when they know their control of Congress is in deep danger.
The House has done its damage. Now the fight moves to the Senate, and we have to stop it there.
Electing pro-democracy women to the Senate is how we win this fight. We need leaders who will stand up for every eligible voter's right to participate in our democracy, no matter their name, their history, or what documents they have handy.
Donate now to take back power in 2026 and put a stop to anti-democratic extremism in Congress:
