Being a mom is a dream that lots of girls have from a young age.

So many little girls grow up playing house and pretending to be a mom. Now, the scenarios they come up with usually involve a few more tea parties, superheroes, or visits to the doctor than a typical mom experiences in one day. But being a mom is a dream that lots of girls have from a young age.

Christina’s story wasn’t any different (you can watch her tell the story here ([link removed] ) ). She had always pictured herself as a mom someday. But the daydream she had as a kid is nothing like what actually happened. She found herself alone and unexpectedly pregnant.

For Christina, looking for an abortion wasn’t really a decision. “It was more of a reflex,” she says.

As she searched online for an abortion, she connected with Emma, a trained nurse from Human Coalition who gave her reassurance that she had other options besides ending the life of her child.

Still, Christina was determined to get an abortion. As she made the 4+ hour trip across state lines to a Planned Parenthood, she rode in silence...

Life usually doesn’t turn out the way we dreamed it would, but that’s what makes it so beautiful. We believe all moms can choose the beautiful journey of motherhood over the quick fix of an abortion.

Abortion will become unthinkable and unnecessary in our country, but it will take all of us working together to show the love of Christ to moms seeking an abortion.
