Martin Luther King Jr.'s words on health care injustice still resonate today.

Every American must have access to affordable, quality health care.

Our country is facing a life-expectancy decline that is directly related to health care.  We simply can’t afford the premiums.  Every year, the cost of the same prescription drugs becomes more expensive.  Most families are one trip to the hospital away from financial ruin.  In America, you shouldn’t have to choose between your health and your mortgage.

This may be our reality today, but it doesn’t have to stay that way in the future. I will fight for lower health care costs and take steps to prevent out-of-control-price gouging from making health care unaffordable. I will fight to keep preventative and mental health care options affordable for any budget. And for those families affected by the opioid crisis, I will help you find the health care options you need, that provide hope.

Will you join me in our fight to make health care affordable for all by donating $20.20 or another amount today?

If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.
