    • Sununu’s Friday afternoon veto on 8/7/2020 has now restricted access to reproductive health care, including abortion care - even when medically necessary.

ATTN: STUDENT VOTERS - FAQ

What if my campus is remote in the fall, can I still vote?

If you were physically present in New Hampshire and made it your civic home, it remains your home until you make a new place your home. That means that students who are sheltering away from New Hampshire because of COVID-19 and intend to return are still considered to live here for voting purposes.

BUT if you have never lived in New Hampshire, you can’t vote here, even if you are enrolled in a New Hampshire school. You need to have previously established a physical presence in NH and made it your home.

I don’t know what my address will be when I return to campus. What should I put down for my address when I apply for an absentee ballot?

You’ll want to put down the last place you physically lived in New Hampshire (P.O. boxes don’t work for this!). You can provide a different mailing address (where you’re living now while temporarily away from New Hampshire) for where they should send your ballot.

Learn more about voting on campus this Thursday, August 13th at 7pm with Organize NH
