Position Summary: This position will lead strategies for Resource Development and Funder Organizing for GGJ and in collaboration with sister organizations, supervise development staff and
contractors, support financial management and elevate the visibility of GGJ members within philanthropy. Applicants must have a strong ability to build relationships with integrity and humility, work independently, forecast and plan multiple projects several months in advance, attention to detail as well as big picture political analysis, and consistent communication while working remotely. This position will report to the GGJ Deputy Director. Compensation: $70,000-$73,000. This position is full-time with potential for long term based on evaluation after 3 month introductory period. Job Responsibilities • Lead Overall Development Plan (50%) Coordinate GGJ Development Team, supervise Communications & Development Organizer, lead grant writing, lead prospecting strategies, Coordinate with C4 fundraising infrastructure (to be determined) • Lead Funder Organizing Strategy (20%) Coordinate GGJ’s participation in funder organizing initiatives, coordinate GGJ’s representation in philanthropic spaces as needed, represent GGJ on It Takes Roots Development Team to coordinate with sister alliances • Support Financial Management (20%) Support Deputy Director with Budget management & planning, work with staff to support their understanding and ownership of budget needs for programs and work areas, participate in finance meetings every other week • Participate in GGJ team (10%) Active and timely response on all communications; attend weekly virtual meetings with staff, members and allies; participate in and support preparation for quarterly staff meetings; annual Coordinating Committee meetings, and other events and convenings as necessary; compliance with GGJ remote working policies and procedures Required Qualifications and Experience
