We are shaking the table. We’re seeking justice. We’re telling the truth.

When my sister-in-service Ilhan Omar was sworn in to Congress in 2018, she called back to the support she received as part of the first PCCC National Candidate Training in 2015, when she was first running for office.

Now, five years after that training and two years after Ilhan took her seat in Congress, Republican Super PACs and donors are spending millions on attack ads trying to defeat her -- using the same playbook they used against our fellow Squad members, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib. They want to end our movement. And they will stop at nothing.

Don’t let them do it. PCCC members stood with Ilhan then. And I know PCCC members stand with Ilhan now.

Can you donate to Ilhan’s campaign today and support the PCCC’s work to re-elect her so she can fight back against Republican attacks? Her primary is tomorrow. We cannot back down.

Since the day Ilhan was elected, the occupant of the White House and other Republicans have attacked her with hateful, bigoted, racist rhetoric. Hateful rhetoric puts people in real danger. Hateful rhetoric leads to hateful policies. Those threats are real.

But Ilhan, like all of us, was built for this. What Ilhan, Alex, Rashida, and I are doing is what women, and certainly women of color, have done in social movements throughout history. We are shaking the table. We’re seeking justice. We’re telling the truth. We’re fighting to preserve our democracy.

Whether Ilhan is advocating for Medicare For All, a Green New Deal, or a housing guarantee -- she stands up for people over big corporations.

Ilhan doesn’t take money from corporate PACs. She relies on donations from everyday people to fund her campaign. We need her in Congress. And today, Ilhan needs us.

Please donate what you can to Ilhan’s campaign and the PCCC’s work to re-elect her and other progressives across the country.

In solidarity,

-- Representative Ayanna Pressley
