Two major stories about Donald Trump’s war on the United States Postal Service broke over the weekend, John:

Late Friday night, the Washington Post reported that Trump’s new Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is directing a sweeping new reorganization of the United States Postal Service that “centralizes power around DeJoy” and “de-emphasizes decades of institutional postal knowledge.”

Then, POLITICO reported the Trump Administration is exploring executive actions to attack mail-in voting, including “everything from directing the postal service to not deliver certain ballots to stopping local officials from counting them after Election Day.”

It’s clear Trump is trying to sabotage the USPS and stop Americans from being able to safely exercise their constitutional right to vote by mail in November.

We need Democrats in Congress to fight back immediately to protect the USPS and the integrity of our election.
