Friends,

I will always be a soldier, and I’m damn proud of that.

I am in my position because, like many of you, I was sick and tired of hearing politicians promise to look out for Servicemembers, Veterans and their families on the campaign trail—and then abandoning them when they take office.

You deserve better. You’ve earned better.

My mission in Congress is not that different from what it was when I served in uniform: to serve the Constitution, to protect this democracy, to defend freedoms and to keep our nation as strong as it should be.

Even when the road is daunting. Even when the future is hazy.

So, I refuse.

I refuse to see the democracy I fought so hard to defend be dismantled.

I refuse to let the healthcare and benefits our Veterans rightfully earned be gutted.

I refuse to watch quietly as Donald Trump sends a new generation of troops into war without Constitutionally-required Congressional approval.

If you refuse to let this administration disrespect our nation's heroes too, I am humbly asking you to join me in this mission by donating to my campaign.

Will you please contribute whatever you can afford to my campaign to continue this advocacy? The donation itself is more important than the amount. My work in Congress is only possible with your support, and we are much more powerful when we act together.

DONATE: [link removed]

Thank you. I will always protect Servicemembers, Veterans and their families, and I’m sincerely grateful to have your support.

Tammy
