Spending lots of time out in the field this week, folks. I was working on the tractor and even took a good chunk out of my thumb.

But it’s all worth it — we’re about one third of the way done with harvest. This isn’t quite as bad as the 1980s, but we’ve got a lot of grasshoppers that can do some damage.

I’m just a dirt farmer trying to do what’s right for my state and Americans across the country. I’m not like most politicians around here, I don’t hobnob with big donors or depend on special interests checks.

Instead, I rely on grassroots supporters like you to keep our campaign moving and shaking. Right now, we’re slightly behind our mid-month fundraising goal. So, can I count on you to chip in $10 right now?

Sharla’s calling me to get back to work now.

Talk soon!
