Hey, we wanted to send an update on our end-of-month fundraising goal.

We only have a few days left to hit our August fundraising goal. Meeting it will make sure we're able to grow this movement, increase the number of states we're organizing in, and share more big ideas to get our country working for working people.
But even though the pressure is high, you won't see Elizabeth hopping around big cities to host swanky fundraisers with wealthy donors behind closed doors.
You won't see Elizabeth take a dime from federal lobbyists, corporate PACs, or PACs of any kind. You won't see Elizabeth cozy up to billionaires and nudge them to dump buckets of cash into a Super PAC for her.
Instead, grassroots donors are the only people who fund our campaign. And right now, our movement needs your help.
Hitting this fundraising goal is just the first step of our plan to put power in the hands of the people, where it belongs — not in the clutches of the rich and powerful.
We’re proposing big plan after big plan to make big, structural change — the type of change that rips out the root causes of the deep problems in our economy, our government, and our democracy.
Because let’s face it: There are systemic problems that led to someone like Donald Trump getting elected in the first place. He’s only the symptom, not the cause, of the crises we face.
To make real change, we need to build a massive grassroots movement, and we need bold ideas.
That’s what we’re focused on.
So instead of catering to wealthy and well-connected donors, Elizabeth will continue to spend time at meet and greets and organizing events. And she’ll keep proposing substantive ideas that will level the playing field for working people.
Elizabeth’s time is not for sale, and she’s running to be the best president that money can’t buy. But that’s only possible because of the support from people like you.
