BREAKING UPDATE: We recently shared that one of my opponents in this race is funded by a Kristi Noem donor. But it gets worse: our team just learned that this same opponent has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations from Trump donors. 

Friend, this isn’t random. That’s how this extremist agenda takes hold — through outside money and candidates who are willing to open the door to it. If we don’t act now, we risk losing New Mexico to MAGA extremism. That's why it's so critical that we protect the seat of every Democratic governor — including right here in New Mexico.

When it comes to standing up to Donald Trump, you can count on me to always fight on behalf of working people in New Mexico. I’ve spent my entire career fighting for affordable healthcare, strong public education, environmental protections, and a path to progress for the hardworking families of my state. 

I don’t have the backing of billionaire right-wing donors, and I don’t have the ability to write myself a million dollar check to fund my campaign like some of my other opponents. I rely on the grassroots support of this team — people just like you! — to help us reach every voter in New Mexico, fight back against extremism, and keep this seat blue. And when it comes to accountability, I report to the people of New Mexico: not the backers of right-wing extremists.  

Tonight at midnight is our biggest deadline of the campaign. After today, our fundraising numbers will go public, and my opponents will no-doubt assess the strength of this grassroots campaign. We have to show them the power of this team.
