Spring Turkey Season [ [link removed] ]
Spring Turkey Hunting is Calling

After a long Maine winter, the woods are waking up—and spring turkey season is right around the corner! It’s one of the most exciting times of year to be in the woods.

Spring turkey hunting is very interactive; calling to a gobbler and hearing him answer back is a thrill that keeps hunters coming back year after year. When a tom responds and starts working his way in—there’s nothing quite like it.

It’s the perfect opportunity to shake off winter cabin fever. Warmer temperatures, longer days, and the sights and sounds of spring make early mornings in the woods especially rewarding.

And the best part? Maine offers abundant turkey hunting opportunities with plenty of accessible habitat and strong populations—it’s a great season for both seasoned hunters and those looking to try turkey hunting for the first time.

So dust off your calls, pattern your shotgun, and start scouting—turkey hunting season will be here before you know it.
