John, the federal government does not run our elections in Pennsylvania. And no matter what conspiracy theories this administration peddles, I’ll always stand up for the fundamental freedom to vote.

Before I go any further, I need to make a humble request: Will you make your first donation of the year to my campaign for reelection? Election Day is less than seven months away — so we’re quickly running out of time to reach the voters we’ll need to win.

Take it from the guy who went 43-0 in the aftermath of the 2020 election:

The President doesn’t control our elections. The states do.

So if any politician, any President wants to go after your right to vote, they’ll have to go through me.

But John, all of that could change with a far-right Governor in charge. Instead of protecting access to the ballot box, my opponent won’t hesitate to be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump’s attacks on our democracy.

So I need to ask: Will you chip in just a few dollars to power our campaign to victory here in battleground Pennsylvania? Our democracy is on the line this year, so we have to give this election everything we’ve got.
