John,

Are you concerned about the influence of big money in politics?

Don’t miss this virtual event on Friday, April 10, hosted by Montana State University and featuring Issue One Director of Money in Politics Reform Michael Beckel.

As part of its “Public Things” discussion series, Montana State University will host a bipartisan discussion about the need for campaign finance reform — including what's at stake in The Montana Plan ballot measure proposal to fight corporate and dark money in elections that is expected to be on the ballot in Montana this fall.

The discussion will also feature:

  • Former Gov. and RNC Chairman Marc Racicot (R-MT)

  • Former Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT)

  • Jeff Mangan of the Transparent Election Initiative

  • And MSU political science professor Dr. Sara Rushing

Our country’s broken campaign finance system gives undue influence to lobbyists, special interests, and the wealthiest Americans, while the vast majority of citizens lack a seat at the table. That’s why we at Issue One are working to curb the growing influence of big money in politics and build a system that truly represents all Americans — not just the wealthy few.

Tune in to learn more about how you can help root out corruption and big money in our political system! Watch the webcast of this event online here, and if you are in Bozeman, Montana, on Friday, RSVP here to attend in person!

Hope you’ll join us,
