John — once again Donald Trump is showing he’s afraid
of our movement.
Earlier this week he went on another one of his unhinged Twitter
rants about his challengers. Here’s what he said:
Talk about a typical Trump cheap shot. Seems like he’s referring to
the time, more than 20 years ago, when Governor Weld fell ill
with the flu while receiving an Honorary Degree at a prestigious
college.
Cheap shot aside, if you dig a little deeper it's clear these
tweets mean we’re getting under his skin. It means we have to keep the
momentum going. It means we’ve got a shot to beat
him.
But we can’t do it alone — we’re relying on supporters like
you to help carry us through this campaign. We don’t have the
luxury of Donald Trump’s loose morals, wealthy friends, and cabal of
cronies willing to go along with just about any corrupt deal in
exchange for campaign donations.
We’re looking to raise another $12,553 from
supporters like you by midnight Saturday if we want
to hit our critical end-of-month fundraising goal and continue to
build on the momentum we’ve established in New Hampshire, Iowa, and
around the country. If we don’t hit this goal, we risk losing ground,
and having to put off hiring more staff that will help us
reach out to voters in critical early primary states.
Can you be one of the first ten donors to help
us reach our critical end-of-month goal by donating $10, $20, or
whatever you can today?
Thanks for helping us get
there, Team Weld
