It's official: we have our Republican opponent for the November general election.

The national Republicans' handpicked candidate has been declared the winner, and the top-two primary results show we're in for a tough fight. Just a few points separated Democrats from the Republicans in the final count.

Now that Republicans have their candidate, they're ready to go all-in to defeat Kim. Just like in 2018, they'll spend big to flip this seat because they know they can't take back the House without winning here in the 8th district.

We narrowly flipped this district blue for the first time ever in 2018, and holding on to this seat won't be easy. The Seattle Times even said, "Democratic Rep. Kim Schrier of the 8th Congressional District has her work cut out for her."

Kim has never accepted a dime of corporate PAC money. That means, in order to have the resources to fight back against national Republican attacks, we need grassroots supporters to step up right away.
