Dear Team,

Imagine you're pregnant in Georgia, and you've decided what kind of care you want—the care of a midwife you trust and who listens—someone you want by your side through one of the most vulnerable moments of your life. And then you find out: the law doesn’t care what you want. [[link removed]]

Families across Georgia are living this reality—in a state with some of the worst maternal health outcomes in the country and laws that treat midwives like criminals.

We're suing the state of Georgia to change that. [[link removed]]

MIDWIVES SAVE LIVES [[link removed]]

Birth centers are closing. Rural hospitals are shutting down labor and delivery units. And the state legislature just failed to pass HB520, a bill that would have largely decriminalized midwifery. We're suing the state of Georgia, because when lawmakers fail, the courts are where we fight—and your support is what makes that possible. [[link removed]]
