This week on Spotlight, we celebrate us through everyday voices by sharing three powerful stories of identity, memory, and connection. In Growing Up Lemay, dozens of residents come together to preserve the spirit of their Missouri hometown through a community-written book now in its third printing. Then, Girlhood brings together the deeply personal voices of thirty teens from twenty-seven countries, opening their lives through diary entries and photographs that capture both the universal and unique experiences of growing up. And in A Moving Story, a church and synagogue in University City find new meaning in a shared space, building understanding and community by embracing each other’s traditions. Together, these stories highlight how everyday voices can shape, preserve, and unite us.
