I write to you today with a heavy heart. Over the weekend, the tragic news broke that Jimmy Lai, a pro-democracy leader in Hong Kong, had been arrested by Chinese Communist Party thugs. Not only is Jimmy Lai a friend of freedom, he is a personal friend of ours at ACU. Jimmy has paid a high price for his long-standing advocacy for freedom for the people of Hong Kong. 

I ask that you join me today for a very special edition of CPAC Live, where we engage in candid discussions with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Townhall Editor Katie Pavlich.
