Marc Elias
Hey, it’s Marc Elias with an urgent update for you: We’re suing Donald Trump – again.
As the leading attorney for the Democratic Governors Association, I’m proud to be at the forefront of the fight to protect voting rights against Trump’s repeated attacks. His latest executive order restricting mail-in voting and unconstitutionally inserting federal agencies into election administration is one of his most extreme assaults on our elections yet.
I will not stand for this, and neither will Democratic governors across the country. That’s exactly why we took him to court last year, and why we’re taking him to court again to challenge this latest attempt to seize control over our elections.
I’ve beaten Trump in court before and I’m ready to do it again, but we all need to steel ourselves for the battles ahead. We can never lose sight of what we need to do to protect free and fair elections while Trump threatens them right in front of us.
If you want to help fuel the fight against Trump and elect Democratic governors who are defending our democracy and protecting our right to vote, can you chip in $3 – or more – to the DGA now? Your gift will be matched up to their $25,000 goal until midnight.
If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Marc Elias
