Happy Easter! Hope everyone had a great weekend.

For this week's edition of Sustainer Sunday, we've got Jaiden Rosheisen
from Beloit.

He walked into one of our campaign events not knowing what to expect, and
he walked out knowing exactly who he wanted as his next governor.

I was reading about the candidates for the upcoming governor's election
here in Wisconsin, and Fran's policies — universal childcare; paid leave
for all; fully funded schools by taxing the ultra-wealthy; fairer, cheaper
healthcare — caught my eye. There happened to be a campaign event that
week in Beloit, so I decided I'd go.

Just from hearing her speak once, I instantly knew this was who I wanted
to be the next governor of my state. Her personality was so different from
any candidate I'd listened to before. She was so passionate and
straightforward — she didn't sugarcoat her words. She just said it how it
needed to be said.

After the event, I wanted to meet Fran, but when I spoke to her, I was
really nervous. I have Asperger's, and social interactions are hard for
me. But Fran was patient with me and helped me calm down. That's when I
knew she had my full support.

I love the issues she wants to progress on — legalizing cannabis, raising
the minimum wage, ensuring rights for LGBTQ+ people and protecting women's
bodily autonomy.

When I think about the future, I think Fran is our best chance for
Wisconsin to become what we all want Wisconsin to be.

This campaign is as much about people as it is about policy, and we're so
grateful for supporters like Jaiden. 

We don't have big-money donors funding mailers and media buys — but we do
have a movement built on real, human connection.

And maybe that's why it feels so different.
