Media and Narrative Building on Homelessness and COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought to light the value of housing, as staying home has become a literal matter of life-or-death. As the moratorium on eviction comes to an end, a new consciousness is emerging that anyone may become homeless. Although this understanding is at the forefront of issues among Americans, counter-messaging of derogatory narratives, stoking fears--based on racist and classist stereotypes--is also on the rise as well.

Join us Wednesday, August, 12, 2020 at 2pm EDT, to take advantage of this opportunity to get narrative building and messaging advice from leading experts, bringing expertise from lived experience, digital media, polling and focus groups, and more!

This webinar will feature:
Mark Horvath (he/him/his), Founder of Invisible People Theo Henderson (he/him/his), Host of We The Unhoused Karianna Barr (she/hers), Director, Development and Communications, National Homelessness Law Center Tiffany Manuel (she/hers), Ph.D., President & CEO of The Case Made Kate Chatfield (she/hers), Senior Advisor for Legislation and Policy, The Justice Collabortive
