Our race is one of the top 10 Senate seats most likely to flip. Donald Trump and Mike Pence have endorsed my right-wing opponent. The polls show us in single digits — and honest to goodness, we’re only ahead because of your support.
The Trump campaign is already dumping millions of dollars into Minnesota, doing whatever they can to turn Minnesota red and secure a second term in the White House. With the attacks I know are coming, my opponent could ride Trump’s coattails to victory as we get gobbled up on the airwaves.
Candidly, I know we can’t match the Trump campaign and National Republican groups dollar for dollar. But if their attacks go unchallenged, we will lose our race and any chance Democrats have to flip the Senate.
