Friend,

During a global pandemic and historic election year, it should be a common goal
for Americans to be able to vote safely and securely -- that means supporting
and funding vote-by-mail.

But Donald Trump and his extreme GOP allies are spreading lies about
vote-by-mail time and time again, and actively working to defund the U.S. Postal
Service. While Leader Pelosi and I met with the Postmaster General last week to
demand that USPS begin paying overtime again and hire back workers who were
unfairly fired so that the mail is delivered on time -- including medicine,
paychecks, absentee ballots, and more.

Democrats are not going to stop fighting until state election systems and the
post office gets the resources they need. If you’re with me, add your name right now to support the U.S. Postal Service. [link removed] ADD YOUR NAME → [link removed]

The Postal Service said early in the pandemic that they’d run out of money by
September. That’s next month.

But while we’re facing down an unprecedented global public health crisis, where
Americans are more dependent on mail than ever, and a fast-approaching Election
Day, Donald Trump tweets stuff like this:

There has been mail-in voting since the Civil War. It’s never been political --
heck, funding the U.S. Postal Service has never been political. But in the Trump
era, anything goes, and if we don’t speak up now we’ll be in big trouble next
month.

Support the U.S. Postal Service and use your voice today: Add your name to tell Donald Trump to stop politicizing the post office and mail-in voting right now. [link removed]

Sincerely,
