I’ll dive into the details in a second, but I think it’s important that you know: I’ve been standing up to Trump and his dangerous agenda for years. That’s made Colorado Republicans extremely desperate to kick me out of Congress. And since this is one of the must-win districts for Democrats across the country? Here’s the deal: Our new opponent isn’t a typical adversary. He’s an independent who could end up splitting part of the vote… and make this race much easier for MAGA Republicans to try and flip.

If Republicans take this seat, there is virtually no path for Democrats to win back the House majority. Imagine the harm MAGA Republicans could do if they hold the majority for two more years. All because of one spoiler candidate in one district.

That means there’s no margin for error in this race. Colorado’s 7th is the toughest seat in Colorado held by a Democrat, so we can’t get too confident.

From now until Election Day, I’ll be running this race at full speed, working around the clock to take this campaign to every corner of the district. I won’t take a single vote, donation, or volunteer shift for granted — because that’s the only way we’re going to win this race.
