TODAY (Monday, Aug. 10) - We ask that you join us - and advocates around the country - in urging Congress to #BoostSNAPNow to Fill Empty Plates and stimulate the economy! It is shameful for them to leave D.C. without taking care of the millions of Americans who are struggling to feed their families.
We need each member of the PA delegation to weigh in with House and Senate leadership who are negotiating what could be the last major COVID-19 relief package until after the Nov. elections. This package must: - Boost SNAP maximum benefits by 15 percent, which would help all SNAP households;
- Increase the minimum monthly SNAP benefit from $16 to $30; and
- Suspend SNAP time limits or administrative rule changes that would cut benefits.
You have options for how you want to weigh in. Do one or do all three!
